Wild FLowers: On Tour in Amsterdam

Sunday 14th January 2018 17:30

Following the enthusiastic reception of “Wild Flowers” in the Theater Warenar, Wassenaar, in May, we’ll be taking this vibrant musical on an international tour. Yes really!

'Wild Flowers", written by Marlis, is a short musical about a group of slightly jaded performers who never really made it and never will. Set in the dressing room of a seedy theatre as they prepare for another show, they talk, bitch and gossip about their lives, loves, expectations and disappointments. Interspersing this with classic Motown hits, this toe tapping, fun musical romp will make you laugh as you suppress your desire to sing along with some truly great songs.

So if you missed the opportunity to see this fun-filled romp through love, life and Motown, then book the date now!

Sunday 14th January 2018 Het Badhuistheater, Boerhaaveplein 28, 1091 AT Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

AATG Play Reading Accidental Death of an Anarchist

9/10/2017

AATG Play Reading
Accidental Death of an Anarchist by Dario Fo

Monday 9th October 2017

For our October play reading, we will be dong the Accidental Death of an Anarchist by Dario Fo. This is the probably the most famous play by Dario Fo,  the 1997 winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature, and is now regarded as a modern classic. It is a hilarious farce based on real-life events when a suspected anarchist “accidentally” fell out of the 4th floor window of a Milan police station in 1969.

Come along and either listen, or practise your dramatic reading skills before an appreciative audience, or just socialise with other AATG members and meet new friends.  As always there will be free drinks and nibbles!
